Q:  How long does it take to receive the IDL?
A:  We process an application within 24 hours after we receive a payment.

Q:  Can a person with a revoked or suspended license drive with an IDL?
A:  No, You must hold a valid Original Driver's license to drive abroad with an IDL.

Q:  I received Email from a company stating I could avoid points, tickets, suspension, etc. by using an IDL.
      Is this true?
A:  IDL do not replace or supercede the state-issued driver license.

Q:  In reference to IDL: What documents must accompany it when driving in the USA?
A:  IDL doesn't give the permission to drive legally in the U.S. and any other country without state-issued driver's license, a state-issued identification card, valid immigration documents, or a passport.

Q:  Must I present a passport to apply for the IDL?
A:   No, you only need a copy of your original driver's license and picture.

Q:  Can I drive with an IDL only?
A:  No, you must also carry the state-issued driver license.

Q:   What is an International Driver license, an International Driving Permit, or an International Driver
        Document?   
A:  Basically, it's a translation of an state-issued driver document  drawn or written in accordance to 
       international standard.

Q:  Is there a test involved to obtain the IDL?
A:  No. Your state-issued driver license from your home state or country confirms your ability and your right to  drive abroad. However, it is  your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the rules of the road when     driving abroad and conform strictly to the local laws and regulations.
